I've been remiss in my checking the boatdrinx site, so today was THE day. I love her most recent photos, and her fiesty little personality shows in every one. The winking in the bathtub is my current favorite! I hope the speech screening was helpful and if she needs speech therapy it has already begun. I'm thinking about your info regarding Astrid's size .. hmmm, somebody has to be the little one (and I know what it was like to be the BIG one!). I'm not surprised she has gained a lot of weight in the last several months. She's flat out at school, something new, and being little, probably has to use a lot more body energy to keep up than the somewhat larger children. Has no one of the professionals decided that there is a pretty good possibility that Astrid will just be petite? I'm with you on the growth hormones, they give me the creeps. She's still a toddler, and adding hormones to her life right now is a bit scarey. I'm with you, and proud of you for sticking to your guns ... wait it out a bit. She is a VERY busy child. And I'm sure the longer she's in pre-school, the more social with other children she will become. She was mostly with adults her first 3 years, and adults are who sustained her in those early months. I'm not surprised she has a preference to them ... little children are not as familiar to her as adults. Besides, we don't take her toys!! She is a beautiful little girl with a spunk and thirst for life. She is bright and animated, I say keep her!!! BWAAH!. Hope you are all well and fine. Love to all. ~Sharon
