Astrid pooped in the potty yesterday, August 3rd. I was amazed. She was sitting on her potty for 1/2 hour and I wasn't paying attention. She came up to me and said 'I pooped mommy'. I said, 'What???' I went over to her potty chair and sure enough, there it was ... a big 'ol poop. What a milestone!! We took the dumpster and did an honorary flush down the toilet; Astrid was praised so much by me that she went back to the potty and tried to poop again. It was amazing. Today, she spent a lot of this lazy, boring Saturday without diapers, going back and forth sitting on the potty. She peed 3-4 times on the potty. Whatever I'm doing, I must be doing it right. And she definitely understands the process of doing her business on the toilet. I'm very proud of my girl. I haven't spent a lot of time with her, and I've been pretty darn inconsistent, but she is getting it all on her own. I’m not sure that when she is fully potty trained that there will be panties that fit her, but she is getting there!
