Eric and I took Astrid to the doctor's today because her right eye is red with gunk oozing out of it. Diagnosis: Pink Eye. We have to put some ointment in the eye for a week. I think that she’ll live. I just have to remember not to rub my eye because then I’ll have it. Astrid was suppose to have a play date today with Stacy, so it’s a little disappointing that the girls weren’t able to get together. We’ve been trying for a long time and it took a lot of planning to arrange the playdate … what a bummer. But, I’m sure we are happy not to have the nasty conjunctivitis germs spread. Hopefully next week we’ll be able to get the little ladies together next week.
